Beach Sketches and more

First off, the past week my family and I went down to Fort Walton Beach in Florida. Rather than catching some sun, I did what I could and get some sketches. Also, painting the waves with watercolor pencils proves to be frustrating. Hardly relaxed that much.

However, I was inspired to do some beach doodles of Ethelmay, Asmod, and Shadow. Rather challenging to use my faber castel ink pen. I'm forced to make decisions and go with whatever's on the paper. I thought it was fun to draw these guys at the beach.

I wanted to ride the jetski for half an hour, but they were closed for the day. So I settled for sketching some.

Now this drawing I finished during some free time yesterday at work. Time that is indeed rare. I hadn't thought of changing the color of Kanamo's hair and fur being dark or black. But hey, that's ok. The 2 girls are actually split-halves of Kanamo's soul, so she's actually incomplete. They actually have their human forms, though there are some disadvantages of trying to fit in. The cool part, despite being separate pieces of 1 person, they share a mental connection and are able to share experiences, thoughts, ideas, and abilities. And I did NOT intend to rip off of Sense8 in any way. This idea nugget spawned itself last year.

Oh, this was a test doodle I did before the beach trip. I wanted to test out if prismacolor pencils and water would work on my sketchbook. It didn't. The paper wasn't meant for wet media sadly.
