The past week has all led to this, a present for my newly-wed cousin.
I could have been lazy and just give it to her after her honeymoon, but no. Wanted to finish it in time. And it was worth it.
Which is also why I haven't done a beeswhacks comic this week.
Also, been a bit busy with the printing and minor-designing and revisions at my work. Luckily, I do what I can with the little time I have and sketch.
So here's some that I did (not a lot)
This is some thumbnails for the wedding painting.
I drew some more Asmod, mainly him angry. But that ended up adding more things to his background, which also had something to do with the demons in Eruti.
Well that's it. I definitely want to try out comic-prose because it seems more time effective for a long story, such as Eruti. But first, experiments are needed.

2 Drawings, and Beeswhacks Update
That's right, it's the weekly/bi-weekly post of sketches that I've made. I've had very little time to sketch. I've started a habit of working a bit on Eruti's story. So every night or so, I try to work a bit on the plot of Eruti. But honestly, I might have to reconsider working on short comics first. But maybe it's because I'm not drawing my characters enough.
First Drawing. I had no idea, but I couldn't get Buyoung's story out of my head. She's a REALLY minor character, and yet I have this love story built up around her. She's basically a Korean Rapunzel, with a lot of influence from Disney's Tangled. Which is probably why she would only get a few cameos, and only a minor mention in the story. Some of you who have followed me on deviantart might remember her as Ji-Hyun.
Some spoiler here, but I guess I can blame How To Train Your Dragon for this. But I saw a potential story, and it started building up more in my plot. Asmod is turned into a dragon, and then there was this dance sequence I wanted to draw so badly. It was one of the early parts of the story, when it was really fresh and starting to take form during my later high school years. This "dragon" story was one I wanted to include, since it showed how far their friendship has grown, and how they overcome and adapt to this situation together.
This was a last-minute greeting card I scrabbled together. It was for a care package my bible study group was putting together, for a new girl, fighting cancer.
Now for Beeswhacks. I realize that comics take time at my leisurely pace. So I decided to do only 1 update a week, instead of trying 2. I clearly don't have time with my job, and the fact that I want to tell other stories, and not just timbits from my life.

More doodles, a sketched page, and the Official Launch of Beeswhacks comic
First off, I've managed to cobble and modify MOST of the original template in Smackjeeves.
I did NOT expect Smackjeeves to be difficult in terms of customizing your own site for your webcomic. It's not "easy" as they claim. I'm lucky that I can rely on some stuff on the internet, and know a small bit of html from highschool.
If anyone knows any other site that has some decent exposure, or any other method that doesn't involve smackjeeves or webcomic hosting sites. Because I'd rather create a website in dreamweaver and pay for webhosting if I must, especially for Eruti and my anthology comics.
For now, you can take a look here
Also, some sketches from last week, which I've forgotten to upload. Just decided to draw these two and how they'd sleep. I kind of had fun. Asmod would keep night watch and take a power nap in the morning. If they ever get a chance, they could sleep together in the trees or share a room at an inn.
The left drawing, Shadow the Grom pup is supposed to be chilling with them, but it doesn't even look like a puppy sadly. Probably explains why Asmod is a bit irritable.
I decided to just try and hand-sketch a page, just to see if I could work traditionally, without clean-up in digital. Nope. Still looks like a mess. I know for one thing, I need to scan these pages, and the scanner in use is really not the best. I'll have to see if the old scanners stored away can work with my computer. At least it's able to scan 9x12 inch paper. For now, I'm going to try and see what the result is when I color this stuff. I'm just going to have to test out what works for me.
